Lin Mo saw that both of them were ready and wasted no more time.

The words had barely left his mouth.

The ground trembled.
The three of them shot into the sky and flew toward the address in Clara's file.
Maeve was stiff at first. They were flying every bit as fast as when Lin Mo had carried her before, but protected by the Bioelectric Field, she could barely feel the wind.
She could only watch the buildings of New York shrink rapidly below. Joanna kept her arms around Lin Mo, and a trace of satisfaction finally appeared on her face.
Whether Maeve had come along or not, Lin Mo was still hers right now.
Before long, New York City was far behind them.
Lin Mo flew straight toward the location in the file with Joanna and Maeve.
It was a fairly remote residential area with few tall buildings, just detached houses among trees and winding roads.
Lin Mo soon picked out an ordinary-looking two-story house. It had a small yard with an old sedan parked inside.
A woman stood by the front door. She wore a light-colored trench coat, her short dark-brown hair loose. She seemed to be holding something, as though she had been about to go out.

Clara showed little surprise. She simply studied Lin Mo, then glanced at Joanna and Maeve.
