A mid-level world usually already possessed a mature supernatural system or technological achievements far beyond those of ordinary civilizations.

The top individuals in worlds of this level often possessed the ability to destroy cities, alter the course of wars, or even threaten an entire country.

For example, "The Boys," "Resident Evil," "Terminator," "Harry Potter," and some superhero worlds could all be classified as mid-level worlds.

Lin Mo looked at the names that had appeared on the panel and rubbed his chin.

Resident Evil and Terminator were easy enough to understand.

One involved biological technology going completely off the rails and turning the entire world into a massive zombie-movie set.

A world's level is not permanently fixed.

The same world may exist at different levels at different points in time.

For example, a world might originally possess no supernatural power, but after a resurgence of spiritual energy, an alien invasion, dimensional fusion, or an apocalyptic disaster, its overall level could rise rapidly.
