The Shinobi World Trembled

Looking around, Obito saw that Lu Zeming had already appeared in the center of the village, beside Rin.

Lu Zeming picked Rin up and stared coldly at Orochimaru and Obito.

"I told you. I know more than you think!"

Only then did Obito realize that Lu Zeming had never fallen under the Genjutsu. The Kunai lodged in his chest had been planted while he was intangible!

Lu Zeming had pretended to fall under the Genjutsu, tricking Obito into lowering his guard and becoming solid again. The Kunai suspended inside Obito's chest had then become a killing blow. Lu Zeming had also lured Orochimaru away from Rin, giving himself the chance to reach her.

The calculation chilled Obito to the bone.

Lu Zeming's speed of growth terrified Orochimaru. Only a few months ago, he had been able to overpower Lu Zeming. Now he had no confidence he could win.

Coughing up blood, Obito snarled, "How are you unharmed?"

Lu Zeming had no intention of telling him what Divine Sense could do.

He merely said, "I wanted nothing to do with either of you. But you went after Rin, so you're going to die!"

With one hand, Lu Zeming unfurled a scroll. Thousands of Explosive Stones flew out, blotting out the sky. The destructive force radiating from them alone was enough to inspire terror.

"Not good!" Obito sensed the danger, and his right eye spun frantically.

Orochimaru summoned a giant snake and let it swallow him, then fled at full speed.

"Explode!" Lu Zeming said coldly.

It was as though the death knell of the world had sounded. Black flashes from the explosions plunged the night into deeper darkness, while blasts thundered one after another. Almost the entire deserted village vanished beneath them. It was nothing short of a bombardment.

Dust thrown
