A deafening roar rang out as the pitch-black Tailed Beast Bomb detonated, and blinding white light instantly swallowed the entire battlefield.

Destructive chakra swept out in every direction like a tsunami.

Within a kilometer of the blast, swathes of towering trees in the Forest of Death were pulverized into nothing. Earth and stone melted under the terrifying heat, and the entire stretch of woodland was razed to the ground.

The howling shock wave carried shattered stone and wood chips as it spread wildly outward. The ground shook violently, splitting into a dense web of ravines.

Not far from the center of the explosion, the three members of Hunt's Iwagakure Squad had just fled the Tailed Beast Bomb's core blast zone with everything they had. Before they could even catch their breath, they saw the terrifying explosion.

Hunt's expression changed drastically. With no time to think, he spotted a thick old tree to his left and immediately shouted.

"Over here! Use Earth-Style Wall!"

The three rushed behind the tree and formed hand seals simultaneously. A thick earthen wall rose from the ground, shielding both the tree and the three of them.
