The Tailed Beast Bomb exploded with a force that the endless layers of forest could not contain. Its roar echoed throughout the Forest of Death.

Even the Central Tower, protected by a barrier at the forest's heart, clearly felt the tremor.

The floor of the tower's hall shook faintly. The shock wave had weakened considerably by the time it reached them, but the leaders from every village still noticed it.

Everyone had been seated, discussing their own affairs. Now they all stopped at once, and the hall fell silent.

Every gaze turned toward the window and the southwestern part of the Forest of Death.

On the Kirigakure side, Yagura sat ramrod straight, his expression cold and unchanged. He paid the disturbance deep in the forest no attention.

Ao stood beside him, equally impassive, without a ripple in his eyes. He looked as though it had nothing to do with him.

Judging by their expressions, neither the disturbance nor the safety of Kirigakure's team concerned them in the slightest.

Behind them stood Mei Terumi's three-person team and Zabuza.

Mei turned and exchanged a quick glance with Kisame Hoshigaki and Zabuza.

The same name sprang to their minds: Yugito Nii.

She was a Tailed Beast Jinchūriki. They had encountered her before and learned firsthand how terrifying a Tailed Beast could be. If their team and Zabuza had not fought desperately together, all four of them might have died in Konoha.

They wondered whether Yugito had lost control in the forest, her Tailed Beast Chakra running wild and causing this enormous disturbance.
