Five-Year Armistice, the Eighth God-given Spirit Ring

The five-year Armistice Pact took the entire night to write.

The first draft contained only a few lines from Yuan Yu. Tang Hao crossed out two passages. Ning Fengzhi completed the second draft, but Bibi Dong deleted the line stating that "Spirit Hall acknowledges full responsibility."

By the time they reached the third draft, the moon had risen above the side hall.

The final terms were not long.

Spirit Hall would stop hunting Tang Hao, Tang San, and Xiao Wu. It could not capture Xiao Wu on the grounds that she possessed a Hundred Thousand Year Soul Ring and Spirit Bone. Tang Hao would not attack Spirit Hall Branch Halls, academies, knights, or ordinary Soul Masters. The old Clear Sky Sect case would be investigated separately.

Spirit Hall's sealed records of the pursuit of Ah Yin would be opened to Tang San in Ning Fengzhi's presence. The identities of current personnel could be redacted, but the dates of operations, sources of orders, and casualties could not be altered.

Xiao Wu would leave Spirit City safely as a member of Shrek. The blood debt between her and Bibi Dong over her mother's death was not covered by the Armistice Pact, but neither side could launch a private attack during the five years. Afterward, whether they fought or continued the armistice would be their decision alone. Neither could involve the other's friends, family, or faction.

After reading it a fourth time, Tang Hao pressed his Soul Power seal onto the pact.

Bibi Dong added the Papal Seal.

Tang San and Xiao Wu signed their names, and Ning Fengzhi signed last as witness. Yuan Yu left the nine-pattern seal of the Myriad Phenomena Wheel, then divided the Armistice Pact into two copies.

One stayed in the Papal Hall. Tang San took the other.
