After using Ten Shadows to slip into Mo Hei's shadow, Mo Bai gazed into the darkness before him and murmured to himself.

To Mo Bai, the space within other people's shadows was shallow, and the boundaries between them were thin.

A single step forward was enough to pass into the shadow of another person or object.

But Mo Hei's shadow was different.

Entering her shadow felt like stepping into a vast domain.

The shadow of a Ten Shadows user could probably reflect what was in their heart, at least to some extent.

As Mo Bai considered this and walked a little farther, he looked up and saw ten points of light.

On closer inspection, they were ten glowing doors.

He had seen the same sight inside his own shadow before.

If I'm right, these doors probably represent Mo Hei's Shikigami.

But he noticed something else was off.

Near the ten closed doors stood two doorframes that had already opened and gone dark.

"Looks like Mo Hei had an even bigger lineup of Shikigami than I do."

The sight told Mo Bai what had happened.

Counting those two doors, Mo Hei must originally have had twelve Shikigami.

It seemed the Cursed Technique Mo Hei had awakened in Solaris was not quite the same as his Ten Shadows.

But if two doors had already opened and gone dark, that meant...

"Only ten left? Was that Shikigami from earlier not a fusion? Did one Shikigami inherit the power of its destroyed predecessors?"

Mo Bai frowned as he thought it over.

Apart from Mahoraga, the Shikigami of his Ten Shadows were all immediately recognizable as particular animals.

The Shikigami outside had looked like a traditional Chimera. One glance told
