"Ku-ku-ku, the most important thing when you have a cold is keeping warm, right? I heard that you're rather fond of sharing a bed with girls, Shido."
"What...!? That's not true...!"
Kaguya forced her way under Shido's covers with a confident smile and pinned him beneath her.
With a Spirit's terrifying strength holding him down, Shido couldn't move a muscle. Cold sweat broke out across his skin as he swallowed.
Meanwhile—
Who's the unreliable idiot going around saying I like sleeping with girls!? he screamed inwardly.
If Shido ever found out who had started that rumor, he was going to teach them a lesson!
Caring for the Sick (Part Two)
While Shido was still struggling to escape Kaguya's grasp, Lingmeng stood out in the corridor, watching Tohka and Origami argue with a look of utter exasperation.
Tohka confidently finished explaining everything she knew about caring for someone with a cold.
Origami gave her a disdainful look.
"That's all you know about nursing someone? You really are useless. Why don't you roll right back to your room?"
"What... What did you say!?"
Tohka looked startled, then turned to Lingmeng in confusion.
"Lingmeng... Is my way of looking after him really no good? And what does she mean by 'roll back to my room'?"
Put on the spot, Lingmeng scratched her cheek awkwardly.
"Well... I don't think a cold gets better just because a pretty girl sleeps beside you. And as for what Origami meant—she's telling you to get lost."
Lingmeng answered without holding back. She didn't even change her expression for that last part.
She couldn't be bothered to think up a gentler way to put it. Besides, these two had been fighting for ages. Surely Tohka had built up some resistance by now?
Tohka's next reaction quickly proved her wrong.
