Miku turned her head and answered.
Shido scratched his cheek awkwardly.

After shouting that, Miku quickened her pace and moved to the front.
She also manifested part of Gabriel.
A golden organ pipe rose from the ground, its tip curving toward Miku's mouth.
It looked just like a microphone.

She leaned toward Gabriel and began singing a light, cheerful song.
Hearing her song, Lingmeng, Shido, and Tohka all felt some of their fatigue ebb away.
Shido in particular could feel strength welling up through his body, which had begun to ache sharply from using Sandalphon repeatedly.
Apparently, Miku was using her power to give them a boost.
At this rate, he could definitely keep using his Angel a little longer.
Lingmeng hadn't asked her to do any of this. Miku had chosen to help them herself.
"If I had a choice, I really wouldn't want to use my beautiful Gabriel on you.
But it wouldn't be any fun if you collapsed from overusing your Angel before we reached the Spirits. I still want to see how ridiculous you look when you give up halfway."
Miku turned her head and spoke to Shido.
Still a little bewildered, Lingmeng and Shido came to their senses and exchanged a glance.
Then they smiled at the same time.
