Miku watched Isaac leave, her face full of displeasure.
Shido scratched his cheek awkwardly.
"No... I think running away was a very wise choice."
After all, if Isaac had been the sort to fight to the bitter end,
Lingmeng would probably have flattened him with one punch by now.
But this was no time to dwell on that.
Shido ran to the three Spirits and swept Sandalphon through their restraints, severing every pair of handcuffs in an instant.

He shouted their names.

At Shido's call, the three girls slowly opened their eyes.
When they saw Lingmeng and the others, their faces lit up.
"Big Brother Shido... Big Sister Lingmeng and Big Sister Tohka... did you come to save us...?"
"Yoo-hoo! Yoshino knew dependable Dream-chan and Grandpa Shido would come~ And Tohka's here too~"
Yoshino and Yoshino spoke up one after the other.
Then Kaguya and Yuzuru joined in.
"Hmph, hmph~ As expected of the man I chose! My retainers have proven loyal too. Excellent, excellent."
"Thanks. If you hadn't come, Yuzuru and the others might have been locked up forever."
"Well, I'm just glad you're all okay."
Lingmeng scratched her cheek.
Tohka nodded with a smile.
"Yeah! I'd never abandon my friends!"
Just then, Miku puffed out her cheeks in displeasure from where she stood farther away.
"Hey, I came too! Don't ignore me!"
Only then did Yoshino and the Yamai Sisters notice Miku ahead of them. They all looked surprised.
"What's Big Sister Miku doing here...?"
"Oh? The Witch of Sound came with Shido? Have you fallen for him?"
"Surprised. I heard you hated men."
"Hmph—I only came because Dream-chan threatened me with force! Who'd ever like that cross-dressing pervert!?"
Miku shook her head furiously, denying it outright.
