Perhaps because she was a Divine Soul Sorcerer, her sphere shone especially brightly. Its illumination reached well beyond twenty feet; even thirty feet away, its light was still strong enough to dispel every shadow.
Wherever that brilliant light fell, the wights trembled uncontrollably and writhed, letting out anguished cries. Wisps of white smoke poured from their deep eye sockets, nostrils, and mouths. They lost all ability to resist, and the weaker ones even began falling apart on their own.
Reynard acted as well. Seemingly realizing he was too late to attack, the Paladin growled Torm's name. Three lights flared around him, enveloping his companions.
