Aaron finally decided to have the young pirate Edward Teach accompany the Snow Elf siblings on a trip to deliver their goods to the Polar Region.
Funny enough, granting Edward Teach a Chaos Mark had been a spur-of-the-moment decision. Aaron had been in a good mood, happened to notice that the young pirate had some talent, and casually handed him an opportunity.
What he had not expected was that Edward Teach would actually use Aaron's gift to grasp Abyssal magic.
His dream of Dagon, King of the Deep Sea, had been real. In that dream, the King of the Deep Sea had indeed met Edward Teach and wanted to make a pact with Titch, but Edward Teach had no interest in him.
To the young pirate, Aaron Salian was the one who had discovered him and bestowed power upon him. Who the hell are you, Dagon? Can you get lost?
After Gang Leader Marlon finished asking for help, the young pirate found an excuse to pull Aaron outside and told him about it.
"You turned him down?" Aaron asked quietly.
"That's right, I turned him down!" Edward Teach pumped his fist. "You were the one who discovered me and taught me to cast spells, sir. I owe you my life! Make me a traitor? Not a chance!"
"But your magic still comes from the Abyss, kid." Aaron smiled, ruffled his hair, and said softly, "Aren't you afraid that fellow will take revenge?"
"Uh..." Sure enough, the young pirate hesitated. Edward Teach suddenly felt a profound regret for his recklessness.
He had turned the offer down outright in the heat of the moment. Only now, after Aaron pointed it out, did Titch realize what sort of decision he had made.
