PS: Sorry I'm late. This update counts as yesterday's.
After a brief conversation, Aaron gradually understood what Selûne meant.
Ever since Aaron's rise, it wasn't that Mama Selûne had stopped liking him or no longer wanted to see him. Rather, she believed that Aaron could live perfectly well without her, so she could slowly fade out of his life. She thought he no longer needed her help.
Perhaps this was the creed Selûne had always followed: she did everything she could to care for her children while they were still young, but once they had successfully grown up and no longer needed her protection or help, she let go and allowed them to fly on their own.
Whether they lived or died, succeeded or failed, Selûne no longer intervened of her own accord unless her children actively asked her for help.
Thus, this most ancient goddess treated mortals with a rather whimsical attitude. As a goofy, chaotic good goddess, Selûne's everyday decisions were always somewhat arbitrary. She often made strange decisions on a whim, forcing her Church to frequently change its policies along with her. This was one reason Selûne's Church never grew very large: her clerics had only the goddess's general directives to follow, with no understanding of her long-term goals.
Mama Selûne might not need Aaron, but Aaron believed he couldn't leave Mama Selûne.
And so he had come, of his own initiative. Today, he had brought Buer precisely to propose a grand objective to Mama Selûne.
"The Heavenly Paradise Plan!"
Today, Selûne wore a Star-Moon Purple-Cyan Mist Phoenix Butterfly Tassel Dress. The bright moon suspended high above made the most ancient goddess's white gauze utterly translucent, fully exposing the soft, voluptuous, maternal contours of her body to Aaron's eyes-the fullness beneath her exquisite collarbones threatened to spill
