The twenty-meter-tall golden colossus drew everyone's attention the moment it appeared.

Irregular flames enveloped the golden giant from head to toe. It did not look human. Its limbs were far thicker than a human's, and both its ankles and wrists had once been bound in chains covered with runes.

The only clothing on the golden giant was a black leather skirt covering its groin. Eight abdominal muscles ran down its belly, and golden stripes covered its massive chest. Beneath its enormous head was a small face, framed by an upturned serpent sculpture on its forehead and a long, curling beard beneath its chin. Its eyes were blood-red. Any creature it looked upon felt terror and trembling rise from the depths of its soul.

It seemed to embody the universe's deepest, most primal and purest destruction: the "nothingness" of a black hole in the void at the end of all cold, consuming and destroying all matter. It bore no malice, for it was merely the symbol of nothingness.

Did a black hole have consciousness?

No. As a celestial body, a black hole had no consciousness at all.
