Duke Bilgard had never imagined that his plea for help from the Snake God Merrshaulk would summon something like this!
Klurichirs were among the most powerful kinds of demons in the Abyss. Some said their rank was invariably higher than that of Balors. These terrifying creatures were born to command all others. Even a Balor that disobeyed would find that a Klurichir's massive axe did not slow in the slightest out of deference to its kind.
On the battlefields of the Abyssal Blood War, the appearance of a single Klurichir was enough to put the devils on their highest alert-and send the demons scrambling for cover, terrified that he might use them as cannon fodder.
The Klurichir stood ten meters tall. His broad, muscular body was covered in dull skin that resembled the flesh of a corpse frozen to death.
Terrifying, blood-red, batlike wings spread from his back. His four arms flexed and twitched ceaselessly, as though eager to crush and destroy living enemies. His face resembled a cross between a mule and a snarling Ork, with spikes covering his face, neck, and shoulders.
The creature's most horrifying feature lay in the middle of his abdomen: an enormous, bloody maw filled with a drooling tongue and two rows of blunt, powerful molars.
Above that repulsive stomach pouch sat a pair of enormous, razor-sharp pincers shaped like great, curved scythes.
At rest, these pincers slowly opened and closed, while drool dripped sluggishly between his loose lips.
In battle, the pincers would twitch and snap in time with the Klurichir's movements.
Duke Bilgard had no choice.
From the moment he summoned an Abyssal demon, there was no turning back. Summoning one was not an application for a business deal. You could not simply send it back because you thought you had summoned
