"Look at this man. Doesn't he look like a dog?" Graz'zt was certainly in poor shape. His night of lovemaking with Astarion yesterday had cost him considerable power, and the Dorn's Fist he had just taken had smashed every tooth in his mouth. Blood sprayed through the gaps between his shattered teeth as he spoke, proof that he had indeed been injured.

All she ever planned to do was watch. Even if the knight who came to save her had his limbs hacked off right before her eyes, that bitch Waukeen would never give up the last of her power.
