Itachi had been happy lately.
The joy was written all over his face.
He was clearly looking forward to the birth of his little brother.
Sometimes, he even asked Kazan what made a good older brother.
That question stumped Kazan.
Across two lifetimes, he had never had a younger or older brother.
But when he was little, two brothers who lived next door often fought over things.
"Maybe someone who can make up with him after a fight?"

Itachi's clever mind began to turn.
I see. He means I should help my younger sibling train often.
Itachi thought that made perfect sense.
In a world like this, the ability to protect oneself was essential.
"Thank you for your guidance, Teacher Kazan!" Itachi bowed deeply. "I'll make sure Sasuke becomes an excellent ninja."
Kazan stared at him. "..."
What the hell? When did I say anything about training?
Kazan couldn't be bothered to correct him.
His apprentice was great in every other respect, but he loved reading too much into things. He could turn the simplest matter into something complicated.
Could anyone imagine it?
Kazan would merely go to Back Mountain for his usual fist practice, and Itachi would interpret it as:
The war was over. With peace came a population boom. Teacher Kazan wasn't practicing his punches at all; he was planning ahead for the coming surge in population.
No wonder this guy would end up laughing like Madara Uchiha someday. Something was wrong with his head.

A peculiar Chakra descended silently on Konoha and flew toward the Uchiha district.
Kazan, who was training, opened his eyes at once.
"So this is Indra's Chakra."
It was unlike any Chakra he had ever sensed.
It was saturated with Yin Release.
Just as
