Danzo's Last Stand

Uchiha Hikari was someone who should have died long ago.

She had been born in the Warring States Era. After witnessing both her parents die in battle, she had awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan in grief and despair.

Her ocular abilities were so powerful that the Uchiha of that era had raised her as a weapon.

Those same overwhelming abilities had also led the Senju Clan and the Sarutobi Clan to join forces and seal her away after her defeat.

She hated the Uchiha. They were the ones who had made her life a living hell.

But in the end, Uchiha blood still flowed through her veins.

When she saw the Sharingan embedded in Danzo's arm, she could no longer contain her killing intent.

"Amaterasu!"

Her eye widened, its dōjutsu power flaring, and pitch-black flames instantly engulfed Danzo.

Before long, he had been reduced to ash.

"You got off easy."

Looking at the spot where not a trace of Danzo remained, Uchiha Hikari turned to leave.

But a moment later, danger struck.

A blade of wind suddenly slashed toward her. Uchiha Hikari failed to dodge in time, and it cut a gash in her arm.

"He's not dead?"

Her eyes widened. Danzo stood before her again, alive and without so much as a scratch.

"Impossible. My Amaterasu definitely hit him."

Amaterasu's flames were terrifying. They would never go out until they had burned their target to nothing.

Suddenly, she noticed that one of the Sharingan on Danzo's arm had closed forever.

"Izanagi!"

It was the Uchiha Clan's ultimate ocular technique, powerful enough to rewrite reality.

It could erase anything unfavorable that happened to its user within a certain period—even death itself.

The price was permanent blindness in one Sharingan.
