Having experienced a succession of brutal combat beatings, Strange's progress was visible to the naked eye.
His spellcasting movements were clean and crisp, already faintly taking on the bearing of a true battle sorcerer.

Seeing Ren walk over, Mordo stopped what he was doing.
"Ren? You aren't resting in your room, what are you doing running over here?" Mordo asked with some surprise.
