In Konoha: Three Choices at the Start

On a newly built platform, Hiruzen Sarutobi and Minato Namikaze stood facing each other.

Not far away stood Jiraiya, Lu Ke, and the heads of Konoha's various clans.

Hiruzen Sarutobi knew his reputation was in tatters, so he got straight to the point. "Where the leaves dance, the fire burns on.

Its light will continue to illuminate the village and nurture new leaves! The Will of Fire will never die!"

As he spoke, he handed the Hokage's hat to Minato Namikaze, his eyes filled with pride.

"Minato, I leave Konoha in your hands!"

"I'll make Konoha the greatest of the Five Great Nations again!"

Minato smiled, his heart pounding with excitement.

When Minato Namikaze took the Hokage's hat, he officially became Konoha's Fourth Hokage.

The crowd below erupted in cheers.

"Who'd have thought that pretty boy could become Hokage?"

Several figures stood at a street corner. The speaker was a young woman.

"There wasn't much choice. Konoha's strongest fighters now are Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Minato!"

"Hiruzen Sarutobi drove Orochimaru out of Konoha, and Jiraiya doesn't want to be Hokage. That leaves Minato Namikaze as the only one who can shoulder the burden!" a young man explained.

"True! Reiko will be thrilled when she hears her husband is the Fourth Hokage!" the woman said.

"Once he takes office, he'll find out how busy a Hokage is. I'd rather be free!" The young man shook his head.

"Enough! We don't get back to Konoha often. Shouldn't we have a proper meal?" another woman chimed in.

Her suggestion met with enthusiastic agreement.

These were none other than Liuyun and his companions, disguised with the Transformation Technique.

They had come to watch Minato's inauguration and to visit Konoha again.

After living here for so long, they did miss it a little after being away.
