"Teacher, I don't understand."

A month had passed since Loveward City's citizens learned of the Magical Girls.

Her actions had made a striking difference.

The week before, there had been several Fallen Beast attacks. Over the following month, there had been barely two, and they were far less severe.

Now that the citizens knew Magical Girls existed, most of them were filled with hope. Only a few remained stubbornly pessimistic, constantly giving off negative emotions.

All in all, things were several times better than before.

Truth's emergence had given everyone even more hope. After all, they had watched an ordinary girl become a Magical Girl with extraordinary powers.

But the Magical Girl Association didn't exist in this timeline, so they had to train Truth themselves.

Which led to the current situation.

"Mingli! Don't run! Face the car!"

A jeep Love had conjured with magic power was bearing down on Mingli. For some reason, its brakes weren't working.

Mingli was Magical Girl Truth's real name.

She had no surname. Her mother had found her in the ruins, and although her name had been embroidered on her clothes, the part bearing her surname had been destroyed.

From the traces at the scene, her mother had concluded that Mingli hadn't been abandoned. Her birth parents had given everything, including their lives, to save her. So she hadn't given Mingli a new surname.

Of course, since Mingli had become a Magical Girl, her mother had been moved to a better hospital room with dedicated care. Love had also visited her once and used magic power to treat her.

After all that, Mingli respected Love more than anyone.

That didn't mean she understood what Love was doing.

"Teacher! This is too dangerous!"

Mingli's face went pale as the jeep closed in.

She wasn't transformed!
