Lin Mo gave a faint nod.
Enel chuckled, looking satisfied. "At least you still have a conscience."
Lin Mo had only just glanced at Enel.
Kaku had already taken a wrench from his tool bag and brought it down on Enel's head with a clang.
As luck would have it, Enel hadn't dodged. He had actually noticed Kaku aiming for his forehead, but assumed it would just be a token tap. Instead, the guy had hit him that hard.
"Damn it, Long Nose, what are you doing?" Enel shouted angrily. "Who hits someone like that? This Thunder God's head is still ringing!"
Kaku put the wrench back in his tool bag and said casually, "You won't learn your lesson unless I hit you hard enough."
Enel's mouth twitched. Without another word, he hurled a bolt of lightning at Kaku.
Perona said unhappily, "Enel, what are you doing? Kaku-chan only just woke up. Can't you be nicer to him?"
"Stay out of this Thunder God's way!" Enel replied, equally unhappy. "What happens between me and Long Nose is none of your business."
"Huh?" Perona said, a little angry. "What do you mean, none of my business? Fine, I'll stay out of it. But the captain can't just ignore this!"
As she spoke, Perona switched targets and began wheedling at Lin Mo. "Captain~ Look at Enel! Do something about him~"
Lin Mo looked at Perona with a slight frown.
Realizing her mistake, Perona immediately returned to her usual tone, sticking out her tongue with a grin. "Heehee, I forgot you don't like people acting cutesy, Captain. Okay, I'll stop."
Kaku had no intention of joining their conversation. "All right, go have fun. I'm going to show you what I can do. Just come back for dinner in an hour. Big Fool, help
