"Hmph! Come on!" Enel shot to his feet. "Let's fight right now!"
Kaku wasn't falling for it. "You don't want a fight. You just want to get out of here."
"Uh." Enel's mouth twitched.
Listening to them bicker gave Lin Mo a headache. "This isn't our world. Don't do anything reckless. If you want to go out, fine. Kaku, Little White, keep an eye on him."
"Huh?" Kaku froze.
So did Enel.
Little White, still hanging from Lin Mo's wrist like an accessory, immediately objected. "No! I won't!"
"Listen to me!" Lin Mo tapped Little White on the head.
Little White refused to budge. "I'm not going. I want to stay with Master!"
Enel objected too. "I'm not a three-year-old! Why do I need watching? Fine, I won't cause trouble. I can control myself!"
Kaku gave a dry laugh. "As if you could."
"You!" Enel glared at Kaku.
Kaku turned his gaze to Little White on Lin Mo's wrist. "Little White, acting like this won't make the captain like you. It'll only make him dislike you more."
The words were harsh, but that was what it took to get through to Little White.
Sure enough, Little White fell silent.
Kaku went on, "The captain likes it when you listen to him. Look how well Big Orange behaves."
As he spoke, Kaku stroked Big Orange's head in Perona's arms. Big Orange gave a soft, adorable meow.
Little White asked unhappily, "If I listen, will Master like me?"
Lin Mo was at a loss for words.
But right now, he didn't seem to have a choice.
"Yes," Lin Mo answered flatly.
Little White flew off Lin Mo's wrist and wrapped himself around Enel's instead. "I'll keep a close eye on him."
Enel shook his arm hard, trying to fling Little White off.
