He turned and called to the ponytailed aide beside him, whose delicate face was framed by her hair.
"Sir!"
Xia Le nodded. "Pass on my orders."
"Starting now, select the most capable officers at G-18 Base and promote them."
"Then order them to report immediately to posts across the West Blue as commanding officers."
"As for the officers already serving at those branches..."
He paused, then continued.
"Have them report to G-18 Fortress immediately for further training."
Ivy froze. "But..."
"What is it?" Xia Le asked.
"Orders at this level seem to require authorization from Headquarters," Ivy said cautiously.
"And I'm afraid the branch officers won't all cooperate."
Xia Le turned his gaze on his aide.
"That's why I'm having you select a group of officers. Whether they can take up their posts will depend on their own abilities."
