Gem had eaten the Bomb-Bomb Fruit. If he could touch someone, there was no escaping his explosions.

He closed in, but Ahua still did not move.

A vicious glint flashed in Gem's eyes. He drew back his right hand, veins bulging along his arm as it swelled in an instant.

He leaped up and swung his fist, as big as a sandbag, straight at Ahua's head.

"Watch—"

Vivi saw Gem rush in, but before she could finish her warning, Ahua stood up. His right hand had turned into a rabbit's paw again.

Bang!

Ahua caught Gem's fist in his paw. Against it, the fist looked tiny. He turned to Vivi with a grin. "What was that, beautiful lady?"

Boom!

An explosion erupted inside Ahua's paw behind his head. Fire flared, lighting up Vivi's face.

Vivi stared at his unscathed rabbit paw, momentarily stunned. The firelight cast a red glow over her lovely cheeks.

"That's amazing."

"Hahahaha!"

At Vivi's praise, Ahua burst out laughing, his face full of pride.

"You bastard."

Still suspended in the air, Gem tried to wrench his fist free. Even with all his strength, he could not pull it out of Ahua's grip.

He glared at Ahua, his eyes bloodshot.

If he could not pull it free, he would stop trying.

Ignoring his trapped fist, he drew back his other hand, clenched it, and hammered it toward the back of Ahua's head.

"You're asking to die."

Sensing danger behind him, Ahua's smile vanished. He turned to Gem, disgust flashing in his eyes.

The man had thrown a booger at him. What was that if not asking to die?

Ahua had plainly forgotten that he had caught Gem's booger of his own accord.

But none of that mattered.
