Now his boss, Crocodile, had vanished too. He might already have fled, so what was Gem still doing here?

Ahua watched Gem's retreating back, his lips spreading into a cruel grin.

"Running? How are you going to run now?"

Ahua raised his palm and slapped it down at Gem.

He looked as though he were swatting a mosquito.

I can't dodge it. I can't escape, either.

Watching the palm hurtling down from above, Gem's eyes flashed with madness.

"You won't let me leave? Then die with me!"

As he spoke, irregular cracks kept appearing across his body, as though magma were erupting inside him.

This was his final killing move, and his final fate.

Before Gem could explode, Ahua slapped his entire body into the sand.

But that clearly couldn't stop Gem from exploding.

Beneath Ahua's hand, countless beams of light shot out through the gaps between his palm and the ground. Then an enormous explosion rang out across all of Rainbase—

its thunderous roar echoing through the city.

The blast wave lifted Ahua's hand immediately, followed by an orange-red fireball that kept expanding outward.

Staring at the fireball before him, Ahua hurriedly coated the front of his body in Armament Haki.
