"Chris, you're almost at Alabasta Kingdom. Are you getting ready to go after Crocodile?"

Sengoku's face was grave as he said, "We've already spoken with Crocodile. His strength has grown tremendously over the past few years."

"How many years have you even trained, Chris? You think you can take on a Shichibukai? What a joke."

At Sengoku's taunt, the women exchanged glances. Strange looks crossed their faces; they found it rather amusing.

Carina's eyes sparkled as she smiled. "Fleet Admiral Sengoku is playing mind games. He's trying to get inside Chris's head."

Nami blinked her large eyes. "Chris is so strong. Why would he care about any of that? Sengoku's overthinking it."

"There's a flaw in what he said," Robin observed, brushing back her glossy black hair. "You can spot it with a little thought."

"If Chris couldn't beat Crocodile, why would the Marines take this so seriously? Why would they call him at all?"

"Chris would just go to Alabasta Kingdom and lose to Crocodile. There'd be nothing else to discuss."

"So Sengoku is talking nonsense."

Kaya looked at Robin, her eyes lighting up. A sweet smile bloomed on her fair, delicate face.

"Robin, you really are the wisest of us. You worked all that out in an instant. That's amazing."

Makino nodded gently. "Robin's analytical skills really are remarkable. She can see past appearances to what's underneath."

Just then, Chris took a drag on his cigarette. Still perfectly calm, he said, "Sengoku, don't bother trying those little tricks on me."

"Staff Officer Tsuru is listening beside you, isn't she? She's analyzing me, trying to figure out everything she can."
