Doflamingo grinned and swept his right hand through the air.

A massive white thread formed from a tree and shot toward Chris, slithering like a water snake.

The air trembled faintly. The attack came on ferociously.

At a glance, it was clear this attack was much stronger than the last.

Chris remained calm. He slowly spread his arms and called out.

"Shinra Tensei!"

In an instant, pale light rose around Chris, shifting and combining...

At last, it formed a white sphere of light taller than a person.

Chris floated at its very center.

Boom!

The massive white thread had barely drawn near, before it could even strike the sphere, when it was flung away and sent whipping wildly through the air.

Doflamingo was stunned by the sight.

Even an attack made after Awakening had been repelled.

That was terrifying!

"What kind of power is that?"

Doflamingo broke into a broad grin. "From the looks of it, you've gathered repulsive force into a powerful field."

"Impressive. It seems to repel any attack. That's how you keep yourself alive, isn't it?"

"Kid, you keep surprising me more and more. Fufufufufu..."

Chris folded his arms across his chest, his expression still calm. "You talk too much, Doflamingo."

"Since we're partners, I'll give you a warning."

"In a fight, you need to be fast, precise, and ruthless. Keep running your mouth, and you'll be the one who pays for it."

Doflamingo covered his face and laughed, his voice low.

"A little brat is lecturing me? I'm so furious I could laugh myself to death. Fufufufufu..."

"Kid, do you really think I can't deal with you? Die."

"Ever White!"

As soon as he spoke, countless massive threads surged toward Chris from every direction like waves.

They crowded together like innumerable white snakes on the move.

It was a terrifying sight.

They bore down with the force of a tsunami.

Explosions rang out as every massive thread was repelled the moment it approached the sphere.

Whether they attacked from above, from the left, or from underground...

None could reach the sphere, much less touch Chris.

"But what about this?"

"Sea of White Waves!"

In an instant, the ground turned into white threads that rolled and churned like surf.

He had turned the ground into a white ocean!

Doflamingo went wild.

He swore he would not stop until he broke that sphere.

Belo Betty took a drag on her cigarette and nodded. For once, admiration showed on her face. "A man who can change the world is more than just talk."

Perona flew through the air, interest filling her small face as she laughed in a clear, bell-like voice.

"That sphere of the captain's looks like so much fun! Horohorohoro..."

Just then, the sounds of battle ahead finally stopped.

A light breeze blew past, sweeping away the dust and revealing the scene within.

Chris was still inside the sphere, calm and completely unharmed.

Doflamingo's powerful attack had failed again.

"Fufufufufu..."

Veins bulged on Doflamingo's forehead. "I never thought a brat as formidable as you would appear on these seas," he said in a low voice.

"Good. Very good. You've driven me this far."

Doflamingo's eyes turned cold. He flung his arms wide and spoke with wild arrogance.

"Now I'll show you my ultimate attack."

"Sixteen Holy Bullets: God Thread!"

With a roar, sixteen massive white threads appeared behind him, writhing like giant snakes.

Their bases instantly turned jet-black, and the color spread upward.

Finally, all sixteen massive threads gleamed black.

They were coated in an extraordinary concentration of Armament Haki!

"Doflamingo, I'm at the end of my patience."

Chris kept his arms folded, his gaze sharpening. "If you don't stop now, I'll kill you."

"Don't think being one of the Celestial Dragons will scare me."

Doflamingo froze in shock.

Doflamingo leaped into the air and sped away, leaving a final message behind.
