The troops stationed at Pudora Kingdom Port seemed to freeze, one after another, at the sight.
Soldier A frowned slightly and asked in confusion, "What's that guy with the green mohawk doing standing there?"
"Does he intend to stop those hundred-odd cannonballs in front of him all by himself?"
"He doesn't even have a weapon, not so much as a sword. What's he going to stop them with?"
Soldier D shook his head as well, saying in astonishment, "The strange thing is, the rest of the Chris Pirates don't seem concerned either."
"That swordsman only cleared away some of the cannonballs off to the side."
"The main barrage is heading straight toward that guy with the green mohawk."
"It looks like none of the other Chris Pirates are going to intervene!"
Soldier E stared blankly at Bartolomeo and muttered, "I really don't understand what that guy is thinking."
"Surely the Chris Pirates wouldn't send him out front just to die?"
Many of the troops stationed at Pudora Kingdom Port were thoroughly bewildered.
The soldiers handling the bombardment were even more confused.
They even felt a little angry.
These artillerymen felt as though they were being ignored.
Were their cannonballs not even enough to make the enemy draw their weapons?
Soldier B looked thoughtful, then a sudden gleam flashed in his eyes.
He raised his eyebrows and said, "I've got it!"
"That guy with the green mohawk must be one of the Chris Pirates' division commanders!"
"They say one of their division commanders specializes in defense."
"That must be him!"
Soldier D immediately asked, "Specializes in defense?"
"What kind of defense are we talking about?"
"Look at him. He doesn't have a single weapon on him."
"Is he going to defend against our hundred-odd cannonballs with his bare hands?"
