"So this is Whiskey Peak. It looks just like a cactus. What a distinctive place."

Nami gazed ahead, her eyes sparkling with interest. "The islands of the Grand Line really are something else."

"The weather changes constantly here, and that has a huge effect on the natural environment. That's how such a strange landscape came to be."

Alvida rested her black iron club on her shoulder and smiled. "It certainly is unusual. I've never seen an island like it."

Makino's eyes curved with a gentle smile. "It really would have been a shame to go through life without entering the Grand Line."

"You should travel while you're young and see how people live in different places. It broadens your horizons."

Kaya nodded emphatically, her smile warm and sweet. "Yes. I've grown so much since leaving the East Blue."

"I'm not as naive or sheltered as I used to be. I feel much more sure of myself."

Carmen shrugged. "And this is only the beginning. By the time we reach the New World, we'll have learned far more."

Burgess suddenly burst out laughing and called out.

"The Captain's here! That means our luck's about to turn, doesn't it? I told you! Wehahahaha..."
