The number "three" held a unique significance in the Unova Region, representing the unity of the land, humans, and Pokémon.
This was also the core of the Unova League's present philosophy.
Yet while Dian was thinking, Misty froze.
A dark shape had suddenly drifted out of Dian's shadow.

A clear cry rang out. The dark shape shifted for a moment before revealing its true form: a Misdreavus. This particular Misdreavus, however, looked utterly innocent and bewildered.
She circled Dian curiously, looking thoroughly confused.
"Misdreavus?"
A soft, sweet voice came from Ralts. She raised her head, a pair of red eyes faintly visible beneath her neatly combed green hair, and looked the Misdreavus over with curiosity.
Soon, a spirited girl with short red hair approached. "Misdreavus, don't run around bothering the passengers."
As she spoke, she hurriedly bowed in apology.
After all, although Misdreavus was cute, many people were still wary of her kind.
"It's fine."
Dian waved a hand and stroked the Misdreavus before him.
"Misdreavus~"
After nuzzling his hand, Misdreavus obediently floated back behind the short-haired girl.
"Misdreavus!"
Misdreavus happily rubbed against the girl's cheek. She had none of the eerie air characteristic of Ghost-type Pokémon, instead looking sweet and innocent.
The short-haired girl soothed Misdreavus while taking out a Poké Ball and recalling her.
Then she bowed again. "I'm sorry. She comes out whenever she gets the chance. She's far too curious."
