"No, not there!" Deadpool hurriedly covered his backside.
"...Enough joking. Let's get down to business," Batman said. "You know who this guy is, don't you?"
"Why would you think that?" Roland asked.
"Because he's far too much like you."
"...Fine, I do know who he is." Roland nodded. "This is Deadpool, real name Wade Winston Wilson. He was a Canadian special forces soldier who joined a biological experiment to cure his terminal illness and became immortal. Deathstroke, Slade Joseph Wilson, is his cousin."
"Immortal?" Batman froze.
"That's right. This priest knows me pretty well." Deadpool pulled a katana from his back and slit his own throat.
Batman stared in shock as Deadpool collapsed. Two minutes later, he got back up and launched into a vigorous exercise routine.
"That's... incredible," Batman said.
"Aha, thanks for the compliment." Deadpool made a heart with his hands.
"So why did you bring him to Gotham City?" Roland asked, puzzled. "You should hand him over to Constantine. He's tough enough that he might survive the experience."
Constantine, the Hellblazer, had a filthy soul coveted by the Three Kings of Hell. On Earth, though, practically everyone despised him. He had probably gotten more teammates killed than Superman had defeated villains. Nobody wanted anything to do with him.
Being Constantine's enemy was dangerous. Being his friend was fatal.
"Don't mention him." Batman had clearly dealt with Constantine before. "I brought Deadpool back to find out why he came to Gotham City last time."
"Obviously, I came to meet Batman and Joker and get their autographs." Deadpool pulled a pink autograph book from his chest.
"He probably means it," Roland said with a nod.
"Then why did you leave Gotham City?"
"Because my cousin dragged me away. He said there was a big job in England," Deadpool grumbled.
