The Netherworld Unsealed (IV)

While Batman and Jason were experimenting on Copperhead, the enhanced supervillains came looking for Roland as well.

The first to arrive were two half-human, half-insect creatures.

The antique thief Killer Moth and the arsonist Firefly.

They were both criminals from Gotham City, but Roland barely remembered them. Perhaps that was because they had yet to cause any more trouble after Batman threw them in prison.

"Even third- and fourth-rate villains think they can take me on now?" Roland raised his hand and conjured a tornado, sweeping them both inside.

Wind of the Night!

"Aaah!" The strong acid Killer Moth sprayed and the flames Firefly released were swept into the tornado, burning and corroding their bodies. "That weak?" Roland was a little surprised. "The guys in Hell are getting more ridiculous by the day. At least send a Demon to deal with me."

"They aren't weak. Be careful." Merlin pointed at the pair. Green flames had ignited over their bodies, repairing the damage they had just suffered.

"What powerful regeneration." Roland charged up to them and drove their heads into the ground with two heavy punches.

"Anyone with that ability is no ordinary Demon anymore." Watching their heads recover as well, Merlin grew wary.

"What a pain." Roland frowned. "Why don't you try True Magic?"

"All right." Merlin nodded and formed a Magic Circle. Countless crimson petals flew out of it, settling on the pair and bursting into flame.

"Still no good." Roland kicked the two attackers dozens of meters away as they kept charging him. "Looks like we'll have to trap them. Do you know any sealing spells?"

"I'm not good at those spells, but I know someone who is," Merlin said. "Keep them occupied here. I'll go fetch her."
