"So who exactly is this kid?" Mr. Freeze lifted the paper slips stuck to his face. "He looks like a bigger Jason."
"He is Jason," Roland said. "From the world next door. Our world's Jason probably went over there."
"Oh." The teachers nodded and went back to their card game.
"So are they worried about me or not?" Red Hood asked, baffled.
"If Roland isn't worried, why should we be?" Bronze Tiger didn't even look up. "It's not every day you get to visit us. Have Roland show you around later and relax... Don't worry. You should be too old to count as a boy anymore. You're safe."
"Huh?" Red Hood looked at Roland. So he was that kind of priest?
"Come on, move it." Roland's face darkened as he ushered the two of them into the room inside the office.
"Um, Father, could you give us a moment alone?" Batman asked.
"Sure, but if you break anything in here, you're paying the full replacement cost," Roland reminded them, then walked out with a cigarette between his lips.
He had barely taken two steps before he heard voices coming from the room.
"If he'd killed you, there would be only one thing I'd do. I'd leave no stone unturned until I dug up that utterly depraved butcher and sent him to hell!"
"Then I certainly wouldn't want him to do that!"
"The soundproofing here isn't great." Roland poked at his ear.
"True." Bronze Tiger nodded. "We'll make Jason pay for renovations later. Otherwise, we'll release this recording."
"Fair enough. I hear he's stashed away quite a bit of money." Deadshot lit himself a cigarette. "Let's smash up this wall later and say the other Jason did it."
"Good idea." Roland nodded.
"Could you try being decent human beings?" Mr. Freeze
