"Can you do something like that?" Roland asked Green Lantern.

"Do you think I could?" Green Lantern shook his head. "If I were that strong, I'd have dealt with you ages ago."

"Can't you dream a little bigger?" Roland curled his lip and fired a bolt of Crimson Psionic Lightning at Superman. "This guy doesn't seem to take magic damage either."

"Looks that way." Green Lantern frowned. "But what worries me more is that Superman might not be the only one made from Green Lantern constructs."

"Yeah." Roland sidestepped an incoming blast of Heat Vision. "He even has Heat Vision? That's way too convincing."

"And Kryptonite doesn't affect him." Green Lantern conjured a Kryptonite Spear and drove it into Superman, but it barely hurt him.

"Magnetic Field Rotation, nine hundred and ninety thousand units of power! Selfless Hell: Ten-Slash Blade!" Roland unleashed a storm of blade light, carving open Superman's chest. Green light blazed from the wound.

"Go!" Green Lantern conjured a Dragon. As the blade energy shattered, it seized the opening and slammed into Superman, sending him flying a thousand miles.

"We can hurt him. That's good news," Roland said, taking the chance to catch his breath.

"Bad news: people are coming up from Earth." Green Lantern's expression turned grave. "Worse news: we know every one of them."

"Fuck, since when could Old Bat fly?" Roland stared at the figures hurtling toward them: Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter. They all looked painfully familiar.

"Old Bat can use Heat Vision, too." Batman's eyes glowed red, and twin beams shot straight at Roland.

"What the fuck is this?" Roland cried as the beams struck him head-on.

"This is bad." Green Lantern felt the pressure mounting. "Roland, we need to assume the worst: every one of these guys might have
