"This pharmaceutical plant is something else. They even lined the exterior walls with lead." Kara scanned the largest building in Raccoon City with her super vision. "But that just proves there's something wrong here."
"Looks like we came to the right place," Jason said. "Let's take a look inside."
"Be careful. There might be a zombie virus in there. If you got infected—that would be terrifying," Kara said. "Have you read Marvel's Zombie Heroes?"
"Wade said it was absolute garbage." Jason shrugged. "So I skipped it."
"Fair enough. But I heard Wade mention that we have a parallel zombie world too, called Heroes' End," Kara said after a moment's thought. "It's pretty terrifying. It scared me so badly I couldn't sleep at night."
"That scary?" Jason perked up. "Was Roland patient zero or something? And it spread through nut punches—"
"What's even scarier is that I just recorded you saying that."
"—You really are Roland's student."
"No, Batman taught me that."
"Actually, Darkseid created that virus by combining the half of the Anti-Life Equation inside Cyborg with Black Racer's Grim Reaper genes. The way it spreads is completely insane. It can travel through the internet, using Cyborg as its carrier. First it infected Darkseid, then it infected six hundred million people worldwide in less than half a day." As she walked, Kara explained the premise of Heroes' End to Jason.
"Tch. So why can a computer virus infect humans?" Jason shook his head. "But considering Batman managed to develop a computer virus by studying the Roland virus... I guess it makes a little sense."
"Maybe." Kara reached the pharmaceutical plant's gates, where a security guard stopped her. "Hello. What brings you here?"
"You mean us?" Kara pulled out a press pass. "We're here to conduct an interview."
"Here? An interview?"
