"Commissioner Gordon, you're famous throughout Gotham City for being a good cop! I've heard so much about you..." Thomas, the newspaper's president, shook Commissioner Gordon's hand and greeted him warmly.

"Uh... hello..." Commissioner Gordon looked at the enthusiastic Thomas and felt deeply awkward.

After all, this was his first time taking credit for someone else's achievements, and he was already at a loss for what to do.

"Do you have some time? I'd like to conduct an exclusive interview with you."

"Well..." Commissioner Gordon's expression froze. What could he possibly say? Describe how he had bravely saved the children from a vicious serial killer?

Gordon wasn't that shameless. How was he supposed to take credit for something he had never done?

"Is there some difficulty?" Thomas asked cautiously.

"Commissioner Gordon is swamped with official business right now. He's very busy and doesn't have time for an interview," Roland explained for him. "How about I have the hostages tell you what happened instead?"

"Well... all right." Thomas looked a little disappointed. "Then let me take a few pictures of you, Commissioner Gordon."

Gordon awkwardly struck a pose, had his picture taken, and hurried away. Roland, meanwhile, took Thomas to meet a few quick-witted children.

"We were playing here when we saw that strange man. He wasn't wearing any clothes, and his whole body was covered in scars. He was really scary."

"When he saw us, he pulled out a knife and tried to attack us, but Commissioner Gordon rushed over and stopped him."

"Commissioner Gordon was about to subdue him, but then he said he had a bomb inside his body and was going to take us down with him."

"Thank goodness Commissioner Gordon kicked him away and covered us with his body. That's why none of us got hurt."
