The Bonk Choy Started Smashing People!

While the banquet was in full swing, Mingyou took Ogerpon out to the vegetable patch in the backyard. Plenty of vegetables were growing there now, but the colder weather had noticeably slowed their growth.

Still, that wasn't important for the moment. More Pokémon had moved in now, and their presence would naturally shorten the vegetables' growth cycles. He only needed to ask them to help tend the plants every now and then.

"They should have grown by now, right? I've been so busy these past few days that I haven't checked on them. There aren't many, but they should be enough for Halloween..."

He reached the spot where he had planted the Bonk Choy. The card had originally come from Bloodmoon Ursaluna. Ursaluna had given him one a while ago too, but that one wasn't Bonk Choy. It was still Pumpkaboo, only with a better effect than the one Ursaring had given him.

Come to think of it, he had both Plates back now. The Meadow Plate and the Earth Plate were in his backpack. Cynthia had kept them for a while to study, but now they were both his.

He still wasn't sure how to use the former. As for the latter, he had Big Bear and Second Bear here, so he should be able to figure it out soon.

He hoped it could help with construction at the Manor. Ideally, it could improve the soil quality and enhance its effects, perhaps shortening growth cycles and improving the quality of his crops...

Mingyou stopped and followed the vines through the vegetable patch by the light from the Villa. Before long, he spotted several enormous squashes.

"Over here, over here! Looks like they've all grown. I'm not sure whether they're ripe yet. Let me check."
