Back at the Manor, Mingyou's first order of business was to show Kirlia around.

Ogerpon was waiting at the door. She greeted them happily when they returned, then waved hello when she spotted another new friend.

"Wum~"

"Neru~"

Kirlia answered politely. She disliked human Trainers, but living near Verdant Town had given her plenty of chances to learn by watching tourists.

She was curious about the Manor, though. She had never heard of a place like this in Kitakami.

"It's a little far from Verdant Town, so it's no surprise you haven't heard of it. Come on in."

Mingyou led them into the living room. At once, the commotion by the sofa caught Kirlia's attention.

Munchlax was still eating chips while showing off his gaming skills. The Teddiursa beside him had become his loyal followers, just like the Skwovet, and were waiting on him hand and foot.

"Neru?"

Kirlia stared at the screen. This was what they wanted to play? What was so interesting about it?

"Ralu!"

Of course it was interesting!

Ralts wanted to prove herself. She hurried over on her little legs, tripped over a bag of chips she hadn't noticed, then scrambled up and asked Munchlax for a turn.

It was a rare moment of initiative for her. She had mustered all her courage and resolve.

"Munch?"

Munchlax blinked, his vacant eyes widening as he stared at her. After a long moment, he nodded and handed over the controller. What bad intentions could the little Snorlax possibly have? Besides, he was out of chips and needed to get more.

As Munchlax rummaged through the cupboard for the remaining chips and snacks, Kirlia stepped forward. Her sister sat on the sofa, and the instant she gripped the controller, her eyes changed. A smile appeared on her face.

"Neru!?"
