By the time they returned from the Coastal Biome to the Upper Campus, evening had fallen. Flutter Mane was a little unhappy. Meloetta had been right there, so why hadn't they gone after it?
"Try to understand. We can't rush this, or it'll run away like it did during the day. Then who knows where we'd find it?"
Mingyou soothed Flutter Mane, and an idea suddenly struck him. What if he got Meloetta to teach those Hidden Dragons and Young Phoenixes to sing?
If they could manage not to disturb anyone, that alone would be progress!

"So, are we going to eat now? Remember, you're treating. I've got a big appetite, so this'll cost you."
Shali's voice cut through Mingyou's thoughts. He was about to answer when his Rotom Phone chimed with a message. He took it out and saw that it was from Akari.
She had returned from Undella Town and taken Ogerpon and the others out to play for a while, so she'd gotten back a little late. She could start cooking soon, though, and she'd bought plenty of ingredients today.
Looking at the message, Mingyou answered Shali's question. "Oh, right. We can just go straight to—"
He stopped, a bead of cold sweat forming on his forehead. How had he forgotten? Last time, merely letting Gloria stay at his place for a while had put that frightening look on Akari's face. If he brought someone straight to the Dormitory this time... would anyone make it out alive?
