After a hair-raising ride that had left his soul struggling to catch up with his body, Mingyou knelt on the ground, looking miserable. He wanted to throw up but couldn't. He even had the strange feeling that his soul still hadn't caught up.

"Even if Draco Meteor blasts me into the sky today, even if Electro Drift runs me over... I'm never riding Miraidon again! Never!"

He clenched his fists and forced himself to his feet. Better a quick end than a drawn-out ordeal. If this was how he had to suffer, Miraidon might as well finish him off.

Meloetta, on the other hand, had thoroughly enjoyed herself. After her first high-speed ride, the delicate "young lady" had let go of all her reservations. There was no trace of fear for the Purple Motorcycle left in her emerald-green eyes.

Mingyou stood and watched the two Pokémon interact nearby. He beckoned Meloetta over to his side, then turned to Miraidon.
