After merging with the Source of Terastal on this planet, Terapagos had become part of Earth's energy as well. It could clearly sense something here steadily absorbing the energy of the Galar Region—of Earth itself!
Deep underground, Terastal Energy traveled up through the core and mantle. By the time it reached the surface, it gradually became the Ecological Energy that kept the planet running.
That was why the Paldea Region had ecosystems belonging to four different seasons. The Great Crater of Paldea allowed Terastal Energy to spread without being filtered on its way to the surface, creating that unique environment.
Now the Galar Region's Ecological Energy was being drained. Before long, the entire region could run out of energy, and even taking a spaceship to find an endless supply would not help.

Crystal light burst forth. Terapagos shifted into Tera Form and rose to the top of Hammerlocke Stadium. Every type symbol on its shell shone brightly, and a dazzling aura spread across the sky above Hammerlocke.
Terapagos sensed the Terastal Energy deep beneath the Galar Region and blocked it from supplying Ecological Energy to this place. It only needed to restore the flow after they defeated Eternatus, so the interruption would not cause much harm.
