On the midday news, the anchor reported what had happened in Hammerlocke. The International Police had taken the opportunity to join the investigation, too. Before long, the Energy Factory would likely be exposed.
Meanwhile, Mingyou and Akari, who had caused the whole incident, acted as though nothing had happened. They were chatting with Carmine and the others in their group about visiting Wyndon's amusement park that day.
The egg Eternatus had become was shattered, and the Energy Factory remained intact. That was the best possible outcome, even if there had been no chance to bring Penny and Calyrex up from underground at the time.
But they had to trust Big Turnip. Uva and the others had already gone to Hammerlocke. If they waited quietly for the matter to be resolved, everything would be fine.
One thing still puzzled Mingyou, though. Why had Eternatus pursued Terapagos so relentlessly? Without that, they could never have shattered the Dynamax Core's shell so easily...
He could not work out the reason for now. Even Terapagos had no idea what had happened. They would have to ask Calyrex when he returned; Big Turnip knew plenty about Eternatus.
A meteor striking Hammerlocke Stadium was only a minor incident compared with the upcoming Masters Tournament final. In less than half a day, all attention had shifted to the match, though Macro Cosmos might have been steering things behind the scenes.
A relatively peaceful day passed quickly.
Unfortunately, no one from Macro Cosmos came looking for Mingyou. Calyrex's email had been intercepted, so even a fool could tell Mingyou was responsible.
