[Your instincts had overridden your consciousness. In the past, you had at least controlled your body, but now you could only think while your body acted ahead of your will.]

[You kept eating, though instinctive fear kept you away from the heart of Dragon Valley. You devoured nearly everything edible there, leaving only one region you had never been willing to enter.]

[You roared and howled, unable to decide. In the end, you chose not to touch the Dragon God's remains.]

[In the 225th year of the Simulation, you bit through the boundary between Dragon Valley and Douluo Star and returned to the home you had left so long ago. What greeted you was neither humans nor Soul Beasts, but countless creatures of the Abyss.]

[You didn't care. Food was food. You began sweeping through the Abyssal creatures, and along the way, you encountered a Ferocious Beast.]

[Xiong Jun challenged you. You slapped him dead and ate him.]

[No sooner had Xiong Jun died than Di Tian, the Scarlet King, Zi JI, Bi Ji, and the other Ferocious Beasts converged on you from all sides.]

["Which emperor are you? Why did you kill Xiong Jun? Have you forgotten our alliance?" Di Tian shouted, making his displeasure plain.]

[You chuckled with a strange, grating sound. Looking at Di Tian, your will and instincts reached a rare agreement: kill those close to him and make him watch you eat them.]

[The strange laughter sent chills through the Ferocious Beasts. The Scarlet King's three heads roared, and he attacked.]

[The Scarlet King's massive body cast you in shadow. You watched him with amusement, then roared. Your body swelled in a way that defied understanding. In moments, one of your claws was twice his size.]

["An ant dares look down on a god? Die!" No one could understand your words. They sounded more like a monster's challenging roar than any language spoken today.]

[You seized the Scarlet King in one claw, reared back, and stood upright like a behemoth that reached the heavens.]

[The Scarlet King struggled in your grip, but the black mist spilling from your body swallowed every attack he threw at you.]

["Impossible! What kind of monster are you? Beast God, save me!" The Scarlet King was terrified. He had begun to fear you as one feared the unknown.]

[You pinched one of the Scarlet King's heads between two fingers, tore it off, and ate it like a snack.]

[Di Tian revealed his true form. Yet even as the Black-Eyed Golden Dragon King, he was no bigger than a house cat beside you.]

["Wretch! Die! Dragon God Claw!" Di Tian shouted, bringing the technique down on you.]

[Greed flashed in your eyes at the sight of the Dragon God Claw. You swallowed the Scarlet King in one gulp, then ripped the Dragon God Claw Di Tian had unleashed out of the air and chewed it up. One of Di Tian's claws vanished with it.]

[Confusion, panic, and fear finally surfaced in Di Tian's eyes. The creature before him couldn't be an Abyss Emperor. None of them could possibly be this strong.]

[While Di Tian was still struggling to understand, the Heavenly Saint Rift-Piercing Halberd tore through the air toward the back of your head.]

[The Heavenly Saint Rift-Piercing Halberd pierced your head, but that was all. You were a monster driven almost entirely by instinct. Even without a brain, only your consciousness would die, not your body.]

[You turned toward the Abyssal Sage King, who looked smaller than an ant, and the silver-haired woman beside him. Suddenly, your mouth split into a terrifying grin.]

["Die!" you roared, swiping a claw at them. Your sheer physical strength shattered even space with that strike.]

["Now!" the Abyssal Sage King shouted. He and the Silver Dragon King, who held the Silver Dragon Spear, attacked you together.]

[Elemental attacks barely tickled you. Even mental attacks had no effect. Only the Heavenly Saint Rift-Piercing Halberd could inflict the slightest harm.]

["Damn it! Why did your planet produce a monster like this? I didn't believe it at first, but we all underestimated him." The Abyssal Sage King glared at you through gritted teeth, helpless despite his anger.]

["Perhaps he's the world's consciousness making one last stand. Once we deal with him, we'll truly control this world. Don't tell me you aren't tempted by the vast energy inside him." The Silver Dragon King kept her distance as she spoke and attacked.]

[You listened to them, then turned your gaze to the Ferocious Beasts. Your mouth split open, revealing a black hole within. They had no chance to resist. You devoured them all in an instant.]

["Damn it! We can't let this thing keep eating. The energy inside him is still growing!" The Silver Dragon King's face darkened.]

[The Abyssal Sage King knew it too. He had already begun ordering the Abyssal creatures to retreat.]

[You looked at the Silver Dragon King, then turned toward the Lake of Life. Despite your enormous size, you moved at a speed beyond comprehension.]

[You crossed each meter at a hundred times the speed of sound and reached the Lake of Life in the blink of an eye. You sensed no Gold of Life there, but from the space below, you sensed the Emperor Auspicious Beast.]

["Hahahahaha! Wonderful! The Emperor Auspicious Beast! How perfect!" you roared. Then you dropped down and thrust a claw through the spatial barrier toward the Three-Eyed Golden Lion.]

[As you did, the Silver Dragon King and the Abyssal Sage King arrived close behind.]

["You damned beast! Stop!" The Silver Dragon King shouted when she saw what you were doing and rushed to stop you, but her efforts were futile.]

[You dragged the Three-Eyed Golden Lion out. You met her bewildered gaze without pity or hesitation, then ate her.]

[As far as you were concerned, you would do to the Silver Dragon King what she had done to Su Laowu.]

[Seeing the Silver Dragon King so grief-stricken that she wanted to kill you on the spot lifted your spirits. The anguish on her face was the most beautiful expression you had ever seen.]

[The Heavenly Saint Rift-Piercing Halberd split the back of your head and pierced your eye. Unfortunately, your eye was merely ornamental. Inside the socket, a ghostly blue flame burned.]

[Your sight remained perfectly clear. You watched the two of them with amusement, as though you were playing cat and mouse.]
