[The Silver Dragon King and the Abyssal Sage King saw the emotion in your one undamaged eye. They were furious, but anger was not their priority. What mattered most was finding a way to kill you.]

[You threw back your head and roared, venting your rage. A torrent of black Evil Qi poured from your pores. Everything it touched, whether plant, animal, or lifeless matter, rapidly became nourishment that strengthened it.]

["Damn it! We can't let this black mist spread. If we're too late, we're all finished!" The Abyssal Sage King struck first to halt its spread. The Silver Dragon King followed, driving the wind to push it back.]

[You rose once more and looked down at them, the mockery in your eyes deepening. You made no move, watching like a cat with two struggling mice at its mercy.]

["Die! All of you, die!" you roared again. Then the Wind Element, beyond the Silver Dragon King's control, erupted and scattered the black mist outward.]

[The Silver Dragon King and the Abyssal Sage King attacked. One aimed for the left side of your chest, the other for your brain.]

[The Silver Dragon Spear and the Heavenly Saint Rift-Piercing Halberd pierced your heart and brain. You were still alive, but your will had grown weaker.]

[Seeing that even this had failed to kill you, the Silver Dragon King and the Abyssal Sage King felt utterly powerless.]

[Your will collapsed, and your body took complete control.]

[You died.]

[Simulation ended. Available rewards: 1. Five levels of cultivation in all aspects 2. Inherited simulation memories 3. Foundation +932%]

"Whew, it's finally over. This simulation really dragged on." Su Ming sighed. He immediately ruled out the first reward. The second was worth considering, but the third was far too uncertain.

Su Ming hesitated. Over nine hundred percent Foundation was honestly tempting, but he feared undergoing the same botched evolution as in the simulation. Choosing the memories, though, seemed like poor value.

Frustrated, Su Ming slapped his thigh. "Screw it! I'll take my chances! I don't have anything weird inside me, so how could I possibly evolve into some kind of monster?"

Su Ming chose Foundation, bringing his total to 1,326%. The sudden, enormous increase caused him no pain. Instead, it felt comforting, as though he had returned to his mother's arms.

Su Ming's chest continued to rise and fall. He opened his eyes, then closed them. The wind stopped moving around him, and each time his eyes opened or shut, the world he saw changed.

At first, he felt the Wind Element drawing near. Then he saw all kinds of elements carried everywhere by the wind. Finally, he saw nothing at all. An empty darkness was the last thing he saw.

This Martial Soul Evolution, like the last one, took Su Ming only half a month. It had not taken over a decade as it had in the simulation.

"Phew... Why do I feel exactly the same after evolving? Did anything change?" Su Ming scratched his head. Then, to his dismay, he discovered that his Soul Power had fallen to level one again.

"Wait, why did my Soul Power Level drop again? What the hell!" Su Ming cursed a few more times before remembering that he had not watered Ah Yin. Half a month... time?

"Hold on. How do I know half a month has passed?" Su Ming froze, plainly at a loss. He checked what he knew about the time that had passed. The information seemed to have appeared in his mind out of nowhere.

After calming his restless thoughts, Su Ming looked at Ah Yin on the table by the window. She was growing well. In half a month, she had reached nearly two hundred years of age.

"Hey, can you hear me?" Su Ming asked, poking one of Ah Yin's leaves.

Ah Yin trembled, then wound a vine around Su Ming's ring finger.

"Good, you can hear me. But Ah Yin, something's off about you. Come clean. Do you know something special, like memories you shouldn't have? Or did you already know me?" Su Ming had noticed something strange about Ah Yin early in the simulation. The narration had offered no definite explanation, though, so he had held off on drawing conclusions.

Ah Yin had no idea how Su Ming had found her out. Her leaves quivered as she struggled to think of an explanation.

Seeing her shrink back, Su Ming laughed softly and patted her leaves. "Come on, it's not like I'm going to eat you. If you don't want to tell me, forget it."

Su Ming was not particularly concerned that Ah Yin might have memories from Su Laowu's simulation. He had other things to do. As for whether anyone else would gain simulation memories after Su Laoliu's simulation ended, he could find out during the next one.

Su Ming picked up Ah Yin's pot, turned into wind, and carried her to the Blue Silver Forest in seconds. With the wind serving as his eyes and ears, finding a particular spot there could hardly have been easier.

Su Ming landed and looked at the forest covered in Blue Silver Grass. It was beautiful. "We're back at your old home. You'll stay here for a while, and I'll have a look around too." Without giving Ah Yin a chance to object, he carried her into the Blue Silver Forest.

The moment Su Ming carried Ah Yin into the Blue Silver Forest, the Blue Silver King deep within it sensed an intruder.

Su Ming had barely gone any distance before the Blue Silver King blocked his path.

"Human, stop. Take another step, and don't blame me for what happens!" the Blue Silver King warned sternly. He did not lower his guard just because Su Ming looked like a child. His Soul Beast instincts told him the person before him was dangerous—extremely dangerous. But for the peace of the Blue Silver Forest, he stepped forward all the same.

Su Ming blinked and poked Ah Yin. "I think your subordinate has mistaken me for an enemy. Aren't you going to explain things to him?"

Ah Yin looked at the old Blue Silver King, who seemed determined to get himself killed, then at Su Ming's face, which looked so kind to her. Her clever mind told her this was all the old Blue Silver King's fault for failing to see that the one holding her was her husband. No, he isn't! He's fooled me once already. How could I let him fool me again?

Though Ah Yin's thoughts contradicted each other, she had unknowingly begun to accept a bond between herself and Su Ming.

It was a gradual change that would take time. For now, Ah Yin had only begun to feel a little fondness for Su Ming.

"Hey, are you listening to me? Ah Yin? Give me a sign if you can hear me!" Su Ming patted Ah Yin, puzzled by her silence. Why had she still not explained things to the Blue Silver King?
