Xue Qinghe—Qian Renxue in disguise—glanced toward the entrance and saw Bibi Dong standing there.
She quickly got off Luofan, looking a little embarrassed.
Of all people, why did this woman have to see her like that?

Why turn up now, of all times?
"What are you doing here?"
After getting to her feet, Qian Renxue caught herself. She had no reason to be embarrassed in front of this woman. Her expression cooled, and her tone turned sharp.
"If I hadn't come, I'd never have known you were having so much fun here!" Bibi Dong looked calmly at her daughter, though a flash of disgust crossed her eyes.
On one hand, the person before her was her daughter. Bibi Dong still felt some familial affection for her.
On the other, Qian Renxue carried that man Qian Xunji's blood in her veins.
Bibi Dong could not help feeling disgusted.
The disgust in her eyes vanished in an instant, but Qian Renxue still caught it.
Her expression grew colder.
"Brother Fan, go back to your courtyard. This is between her and me," Xue Qinghe said, turning to Luofan.
For one thing, it was not yet time to reveal her true identity.
For another, she did not want Luofan to see her openly quarrel with someone.
Is that Bibi Dong?
Luofan looked at the mature, beautiful woman, then at the way Xue Qinghe reacted to her. Something clicked. He had a fair idea who this mysterious, cloaked visitor was.
He had never imagined that Bibi Dong, the Pope herself, would suddenly appear before him.
Still less had he expected her to see every bit of what had just happened between him and Qian Renxue.
It was like being caught kissing and cuddling your girlfriend just as her parents appeared in front of you.
It made him want to find a crack in the ground and slip straight into it.

Luofan needed no encouragement. He bowed and hurried toward the exit.
"Wait!"
Just as Luofan turned to go, Bibi Dong called out.
Luofan stopped.
"Your name is Luofan, isn't it?" Bibi Dong asked him.
"That's right!" Luofan nodded.
"You see, I know who you are, but you don't know who I am. That hardly seems fair to you. Would you like to know my identity?" Bibi Dong asked.
Luofan: "..."
Everything about Bibi Dong's words and manner seemed perfectly normal.
Yet for some reason, Luofan had the distinct feeling that beneath it all, she was a little unhinged.
"What nonsense are you talking about? What did you come here for?" Xue Qinghe demanded, growing anxious at Bibi Dong's words.
She would tell Luofan her true identity someday.
But telling him herself and having someone else tell him were two very different things!
Luofan had never hidden who he was. For her sake, he had even severed his ties with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and declared firmly that he would never go back!
And now he was about to discover that she had been deceiving him all along?
