Spirit Hall and the Rakshasa Trials

Bibi Dong served as Spirit Hall’s Holy Maiden before becoming its Supreme Pontiff. Her recollections associate that earlier life with deception and an unspecified incident in a secret chamber. As Pope, she holds authority over life and death, but remains emotionally guarded 4 36.

Her pursuit of Rakshasa godhood requires dangerous trials. The Third Trial demands that she destroy her ninth Soul Ring and replace it with one from a Death Spider Emperor. She later prepares for the Fourth Trial by seeking an herb that can stabilize her twin spider Martial Souls and raise her cultivation 34.

Sunset Forest Rescue

Bibi Dong enters Sunset Forest alone to hunt a hundred-thousand-year Death Spider Emperor. Her attacks fail to overcome its body, venom, and corrosive domain. After suffering severe poisoning and a chest wound, she uses the one-use Silent Abyssal Annihilation Art to sever most of a feeler and escape. The beast then orders other high-level Soul Beasts to pursue her 2.

Ning Chengyi finds her unconscious in the river and hides her in a cave. Initially suspicious and hostile, she accepts treatment when she cannot heal herself. His Phantom Butterfly Spirit Tide repairs her flesh and meridians while neutralizing the venom. She conceals her identity under the name Zhu Qianxun, although Ning has already guessed who she is 3.
