History

Ning Chengyi’s arrival

Ning Chengyi is admitted after an Education Committee assessment. On his first day, he declares that he will become the class’s boss and seriously injures a student who orders him to kneel before Ye Heng. Ye Heng yields the central seat so the injured student can receive help 12 13. Su Yao subsequently asserts her authority over the classroom and is assigned to train Ning personally for a month, with weekly challenges against the class 14 15.

At the first challenge, Ning defeats a level-29 Soul Grandmaster and repels seven students attacking together. Su Yao stops the session before Ye Heng fights him 18.

Match against the Imperial Fighting Team

The class fields six students against the Imperial Fighting Team; two intended team members are absent following their earlier encounters with Ning. Ning steps forward as its seventh fighter 29 30. During the match, he conceals his Phantom Butterfly poison within Dugu Yan’s poisonous fog and incapacitates the opposing team’s leader and healer. Ye Lingling surrenders, and the Education Committee declares Heavenly Apex Class the winner 32 33.

The match earns Ning the class’s recognition. Before leaving for wilderness training, he appoints Ye Heng to lead in his absence and orders the students to improve their soul power 35.
