The soul was too mysterious a thing, and Will wasn't ready to venture into that field. If he wanted to explore it, he first needed to learn from Dumbledore.

His recent work on becoming an Animagus was a good place to start.

As for Dark Magic involving the soul, well...

Dumbledore and Voldemort's era would end eventually. Once there were no top-tier wizards holding everyone in check, all kinds of talents would be free to flourish.

For now, though, he could only look for books on the soul in the Hogwarts Library.

It was an afternoon at Hogwarts that hadn't been entirely peaceful. Harry had defeated Ravenclaw in the morning's Quidditch Match, and afternoon tea was being held inside the High Tower.

George and Fred tossed Filibuster Fireworks into the Black Lake. Before long, brilliant fireworks burst above the lakeshore. The group sat by the water as Anco brought everyone snacks and tea.

In front of Will sat a plate of Osmanthus Cake, which the House-elves had recently learned to make.

"Try this. It's a dessert from the East. Anco and the others just learned how to make it."

Will shared the Osmanthus Cake with everyone so they could all have a taste. Sylvia and Neville both liked it.

"It's fragrant, a bit like some herbs," Neville said.

Neville wasn't wrong. Osmanthus really was used as a medicinal ingredient. His love of Herbology seemed to extend to everything.

"We sometimes have desserts from the East at home. I've had this Osmanthus Cake before, and I like its gentle sweetness." Sylvia's family was now the largest importer of medicinal ingredients from the East, so she knew more about things from there than anyone else present.

As for the others... Ron thought it was too bland, Harry thought it was pretty
