Will's attitude toward Harry was, of course, another part of Dumbledore's plan.
The next day, Will woke near noon. He washed his face, cast the Clear-Headed Charm and the Felix Charm on himself, and felt full of energy. After checking on the Dark Wizards he had turned into rats in the basement, he headed for the Lestrange family's manor.
"Will?" Roy Lestrange was near the manor entrance, directing the House-elves as they tended the greenery. It was one of his hobbies. He was delighted to see Will—he knew Sylvia and Will were dating.
"What brings you here? Come in. Via's in the back garden with her grandmother." Roy told the House-elves to keep working and led Will inside.
"It's nothing urgent. I need to speak with you and Uncle Victor. I'm here to pass on a message."
"A message?" Roy walked toward the Castle with Will. "Is it from Dumbledore? Victor isn't back yet, but you can tell me."
"No. It's from Weiznan Behrens."
"Lord Behrens has sent a message?"
"Yes." Will nodded. It really was from him.
"Has he... has he returned again?" Roy grew excited. Every time Lord Weiznan reappeared, it marked a turning point for the Lestrange family—and always for the better.
"Yes. Last night, he went to Knockturn Alley, then came to where I'm living now." Will's expression turned grave. "He wants you to go back on a war footing, just as you did when you faced Voldemort last time."
"A war footing..." Roy frowned. "So Voldemort really is back? Via said both you and Harry Potter had seen him."
They entered the Entrance Hall. Will and Roy both glanced at the Portrait of "Weiznan Behrens Saving Corvus Lestrange."
"Yes, Mr. Roy. Harry and I both saw him. Voldemort has returned, and according to Weiznan, he
